About Us

Al-Bader Shipping & Gen. Cont. Co. Kuwait, (ABSC/KWT) has a history and tradition of four decades as a Major Shipping Company in Kuwait. We are one of the founder members of Kuwait’s Shipping Companies & Agents Association.

ABSC/KWT was established in 1967, with a capital of KD. 7,500/-. During the Iraqi invasion of 1990, Kuwait was completely devastated, immediately after liberation in 1991; we restarted our operation with a capital of KD. 50,000/-.

Thereafter we made a substantial growth, elevating our capital to KD. 300,000/- = approx US$. 1 million fully paid.

Our employees will always be our main assets. Presently our strength, in the shipping field is 29, including drivers and messengers, few of them have over 25 years of working experience in our company,

Our senior staffs have gained many years of experience in their chosen field within the shipping and forwarding industry. Our junior staffs undergo in house and external training to update themselves with the latest trends in the industry. We always inject fresh blood into our organization to provide the mixture of experience and energy, to meet any requirements of the shipping industry.

We are Kuwait members of Multiport Ship Agency Network.

We are one, among four shipping companies, in Kuwait, having ITIC Insurance coverage.

We acknowledge that our success is attributable to the quality of service which we render to our Principals and Clients. We are accredited with ISO 9001-2000. We conduct internal evaluation of the services rendered every two months to identify methods of further improving our standards. The changing industrial environment pause new challenges and we revise/update our processes to meet the requirements of our Principals and Clients.  As a service provider, consistent pursuit of excellence is the mantra to achieve perfection.
